I am extremely proud and sincerely appreciate the opportunity bestowed to me by the members of Security Traders Association of Chicago (“STAC”) to serve as President in 2008. This is an exciting period of change and challenge for our industry. Under Luis Fontanez’s leadership this past term, the entire Executive Officer team, Board of Directors and Advisors worked extremely hard to continue to carry the momentum, build on the success of past administrations, and continue to actualize our mission : To educate, to communicate, to lobby on behalf, and to give back to the membership and the great community we represent.

We are proud of the long and vibrant history of our organization in Chicago. Since 1926, STAC has made significant contributions to the economic vitality of Chicago and our members have secured Chicago’s position as one of the world’s foremost financial centers. Our focus continues to bring you, the Chicago securities professional, the best educational, peer group, social and practical business opportunities.
