Contribute to the Fight Against Batten Disease
STAC is aware of two members of the security trading industry with children suffering from Batten Disease - a rare fatal disorder affecting brain function. One of those families, the Van Houtans, live in the Chicago area and we recently learned two of their children, Noah and Laine have been diagnosed with this disease.

STAC raised over $1000 at the Members Only Dinner for Noah's Hope, a fund set up through the DuPage Community Foundation to raise awareness and funds to combat Batten Disease. You may still make a donation online. All donations made to the Noah's Hope Fund are tax deductible.

SEC Roundtable Panelist
Pete Driscoll, The Northern Trust Company served on an SEC Roundtable Panel discussion titled Controls on "Naked" Short Selling: Examination of Pre-Borrow and Hard Locate Requirements. The discussion took place September 30 in Washington DC.
