STAC Young Professionals (YP) is a forum within STAC created to accelerate professional development for securities industry professionals during their early to mid-careers and empower undergraduate and graduate students who want to jumpstart their professional journey. YP offers a unique environment where its members can gather, engage and learn alongside their peers and seasoned industry veterans as they build their professional network and help shape the next era of securities trading in Chicago.

Young Professionals membership is open to applicants under the age of 30 including:

• Students:
  • Full-time upper class undergraduates or graduate students in relevant fields of study including business, finance or economics, and more are invited to join STAC Young Professionals.
  • Undergraduates receive complimentary membership to STAC
  • Graduate students receive a reduced membership rate of $100

• Early-to-Mid Career Industry Participants:
  • Professionals under the age of 30 employed in a relevant field
    

• Eligibility:
  • Applicants must be 30 years of age or under
  • Employed by a broker-dealer, financial institution, exchange or other trading related business located in the Chicagoland investment community
  • Currently in a role that directly supports the trading of securities.
  • All applicants subject to approval by the STAC Board
