2023 Members Only event recap: The votes are in!

It was wonderful to bring together the STAC community on November 9, 2023, for our annual member appreciation event. Every year, this is our chance to say thank you and give back to the members who make this such an extraordinary association. With a 600+ strong group of professional and student members, STAC events are always an amazing opportunity to network with peers, industry veterans and younger professionals to share ideas about the future of the securities industry, advance professional development goals and understand how each of us can help STAC give back to our Chicagoland community.

Leading STAC into the future

Our 2023 Members Only event did not disappoint, with a night of drinks, dinner, raffle prizes, board voting and DARTS at Flight Club! And – drumroll – the votes are in, and we’re excited to announce the STAC 2024 – 2025 Executive Board! Please join me in congratulating our fellow members who will lead our initiatives for the next membership year starting March 1, 2024.

A special thanks to our members and their commitment to giving back

As we gear up for our flagship Mid-Winter Meeting and a new membership year, I also want to take this chance to thank all our members who took the initiative to spearhead key STAC events this year including the STAC Texas Hold' Em Tournament, STAC Classic and the STAC Hockey Tournament. Your efforts enabled STAC to significantly increase our philanthropic efforts this year, most notably our STAC Fund Scholarship program which awarded 18 college scholarships to deserving local students.

We are also so proud of our members who make community service a priority and help us give back to the Chicagoland community – including the "Mac and Cheese crew” that regularly volunteers with The Night Ministry at The Crib overnight shelter, a non-profit for young adults experiencing homelessness.
